Romanian by birth, Swedish by upbringing, Londoner for thirteen years, now living in Perth.
I have published numerous short stories in various journals and a collection of short fiction (The Whip Hand, published by Fremantle Press, 2016). I have written plays and worked with collaborative storytelling, worked as a translator, and written weekly astrology columns. I completed an MA in Creative Writing (Birkbeck College, University of London), and have worked with writers of all backgrounds and experiences for 15 years.
I enjoy talking about writing, and run regular writing workshops – where the focus is on exploring concepts, building confidence and skills, and sharing brilliance (and sometimes not).
I use stories to bring people together. Sometimes this means delivering governance training to small NFPs, and sometimes this means facilitating creative writing workshops that take an irregular perspective on ordinary themes.
